Local Governing Boards
Each school has a local governing board (LGB), which is a committee of the board of trustees and aims to connect the board and the local community of the school.
The LGBs are established to ensure good governance of each Academy. The LGB is responsible for upholding the Trust’s mission and values in the local context, alongside ensuring the effective delivery of the school’s distinctive ethos and curriculum.
The role of an LGB is to be focused on the impact of the school’s work to serve and engage with its local community, children and context.
