Our Trust
Our Members
Members are the guardians of the governance in a trust and are not involved in its day-to-day management. Members’ powers are set out in the Trusts Articles of Association.
The members ensure that the board of trustees is performing well and that the charitable object of the trust - the provision of a broad and balanced curriculum to advance the education for children and young people - is being fulfilled.
Members appoint trustees, as set out in the Articles of Association and have the power to remove any or all serving trustees if governance is failing, under the Companies Act.
Members attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) during which they receive the published audited accounts.
