Applying for a school place at a GLT school 

The Great Learners Trust are the admissions authority for schools within the Trust and choose to participate in the Buckinghamshire co-ordinated admissions scheme. Details on how to apply for school places through this scheme are outlined below.  

Buckinghamshire Co-ordinated Admissions scheme 

  • Applying for a primary school place. Apply here for a primary school (reception) place or transfer from infant to junior school. 
  • Applying to change school during the academic year (in-year transfer). Apply here to move primary school in Buckinghamshire 
  • Applying if you do not live in Buckinghamshire. You must apply for our schools by completing the application form for your home authority 

Admissions arrangements for each Great Learning Trust School can be found via the Local Authority website (Admission policies for Buckinghamshire schools ) and via each school’s website.  

Admission rules 

On each school’s websites you will find admissions policies and designated catchment areas, along with a published PAN for the current and following academic years. The PAN (Published Admission Number) is the maximum number of pupils that the admission authority will admit to each year group.

Appeals 

All applicants refused a place have a right of appeal to an independent appeal panel constituted and operated in accordance with the School Admissions Appeals Code.
