Mike is a chartered management accountant with over 20 years' experience in business and technology across financial services organisations, from Barclays Investment Bank to Macquarie Group and Santander with roles spanning Finance, Procurement, HR, Funds Services, Asset Management, Risk, and Regulatory Reporting.
With a history of successful program delivery and organisational leadership Mike has led globally distributed teams from both London and Sydney, with a broad range of responsibilities ranging from financial planning and cost management, end-to-end systems re-engineering, delivery of new capabilities, strategic roadmap development, to functional organisational design, people & team coaching, and development & mentoring.
Mike grew up in Birmingham and studied in Bristol before working in London until 2007. Subsequently he moved to Sydney with his wife where they started their family. He returned to the UK in 2015 with his wife and three children, all of whom have been educated at GLT schools. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing the piano and sailing
